The Carrera Digital Programmer.
The 30352
Digital Control Unit.
This is the device that actually
programs the
CRP race circuit.
In reality all racecars are "analog" by design
In order for them to change lanes, adjust brakes,
adapt speed and
set "ghost cars" we must use
this controller unit with a "digital
chip" in the car.
It fits both 1/32 and 1/24 track. The PRC speedway
is a 1/24 track layout.
This digital unit
controls:
> Braking Performance
> Speed
Settings (total of 5)
> Pace Car functions
> Ghost Car
control
> Fuel Tank levels and "out of fuel" functions
>
Lane Change requests from controllers
Also displayed here is the
BlueTooth transmitter.
This device handles the laps, race start and the
32 inch
screen used to dsiplay the race laps and timing.
Also
connected is the "multi-car" programmable
controller unit. This
interface tracks the controller for
each lane of track. It basically
knows where you are
on the track.
In simple terms...this ain't your old "toy car
track".
